Many homes experience severe interference with wireless devices that operate in the 2.4 GHz spectrum.  And since most wireless monitors operate in this spectrum families who purchase these devices become extremely frustrated and often must return the monitor.

The SB-3000 series from Safe Baby has gone a long way to resolve this problem.  It operates in the 900 MHz spectrum and rarely suffers from environmental interference from other electronic devices such as wireless computer networks, portable telephones, and even microwave ovens. 

The Guardian Angel is a premier lightweight handheld video monitor available at a reasonable price. It is a perfect system that can be used to monitor bedroom, play area, or even an outdoor hazard such as a swimming pool.

The 900 MHz technology enables the best possible audio and video reception and the A/V output (cables included) enables you to record on a DVR or watch on a TV or computer monitor.

The monitor can operate in manual, auto switch, or scan mode and is set from the LCD based menu. At night the scan mode continuously monitors with a blank screen but any noise or movement in a monitored room "wakes up" the monitor, sounds an alert, and focuses on the active room.

The SB-3001 comes with one wall mountable or free standing camera. An extra camera can be purchased separately or as part of a different set.
